Shipment & Packing Procedures:

• All antique (valuable) goods will be sent standard by Post.NL Signed For Priority, registered-traceable and insured. Depending on end values and nature of Collectables (Non-Antiques) a more affordable shipment will be offered, possibly as a padded envelope. Should you wish an economy shipment (surface or via EMS-Sea) or one with no insurance, I will try to offer you an alternative price when possible: However, you will not be entitled to participate in my refund policy. Cheaper postage rates by Post.NL will be passed on via a (PayPal or bank) refund if possible. All stated current rates are subject to Post.NL regulations

e manner of packing:

• Goods will be packed in either bubble-wrap or museum quality Ibicel-foam or paper (acid free) and then placed in a suitable box or other form of container (small articles according to size).   2-3 articles could be shipped per box depending on weight and size to save on costs. The tarif quoted could however change owing to weight but could be less expensive than individual parcels . Boxes - when needed - will be fortified with lightweight hardened foam or double-boxed and filled with suitable filling material. Your parcel will be taped in to withstand moisture and add elasticity: By international standards it must be able to withstand a fall from 1 meter  height!  Packaging will add at least 450 – 750 grams to the total weight of your article. Packing this way is more expensive but does weigh less than standard heavy-duty boxes and ensures a safer journey in air travel.  Where possible I will try to recycle packaging on account of the environment. I hope you will find this acceptable.

Additions to shipmentcosts

• As a private seller I do incur higher costs and a 19% VAT charge. I will however only pass on a nominal amount of my costs.
• Postage costs: Depend highly on dimensions, weight and destinations. Please e-mail me if you are uncertain about costs to your destination. I strive to obtain the most economical rate depending on the value of the goods as a traceable  and insured shipment. My invoice-quote is final: I do not charge for payPal or extra payment should my quote be too little due to extra weight.
• Most stated estimated prices would cover costs for more than one item as the weight-tarif of package would stay the same. I would advise worldwide buyers to combine purchases: Just contact me and ask for a combined shipment at a later date. I charge no extras for storage.
• Local taxes and duties are for the buyer. Swiss and Norwegian buyers could be liable for import duties within Europe! I will however state when articles are antique - more than 100 years old - or note them as a souvenir. Insurance Values according to retail value.
