I wanted to write you a note with regard to the excellent service and quality of the Panerai PAM213 Rattrapante I received in late April, 2010. The watch was even better than promised and has been the topic of many recent conversations in my travels. I would describe my buying experience as the best I've had of any online purchase I've made. That's saying a lot as I'm a typical guy and hate to shop anywhere but online for the most part. The other thing I would like to highlight has been the service after the purchase. Tom has been attentive, even better, a great knowledge base for questions and even some additional straps after my purchase. If anyone had any worry or hesitation about buying a very expensive watch on the internet -- I would say only do it at WATCHUWANT; you can trust these folks....

The service and turnaround time from the time I shipped to the time the funds were transferred (via wire to my bank account) was a matter of hours. My concern regarding the safety of shipping an expensive watch is lessened by the fact that they pay for the insurance. I recommend Watch U Want for trading fine watches. D. H.

I am writing this recommendation because of the seamless and secure transaction I had with OJ and the Watch-u-Want team. I was in search for a PAM250 daylight which was hard to come by at the time. My local Panerai dealer told me it could be a few months before they could get me the watch. At first I was very skeptical about doing business with someone I didn't know. That all changed when I talked to OJ. He gave me names of customers in my town that he had done business with or new personally. He made me feel very secure and at the end of the conversation I felt like we were long lost friends. I couldn't be any happier with my PAM250. Fast forward a year - last week I stripped the tiny screw on the deployment buckle, which held the pin in place. OJ told me if anything ever went wrong with my watch to call him first. That is exactly what I did. I sent it to him and four days later it was returned and fixed with no charge. I was blown away at this level of service and professionalism. I will be a WUW customer for life.

Over the past couple of months I have bought 3 Panerai watches from OJ at Watch U Want, and each time the experience has been excellent. On a personal level, OJ was also very helpful chatting through the specifications of each of the watches, and helping me make an informed choice. Once the wire transfer was complete, the watch arrived in the UK 2 days later. I was really impressed with the fast turn-around, and I would recommend you use the special international delivery method which limited my duty exposure. For each watch to date, the duty I have had to pay has been sub £40, which is a lot lot less from previous overseas purchases which can run up into the hundreds (not guaranteed to work on every purchase…but has been successful so far). Overall, the experience dealing with Watch U Want has been excellent. The key factor is also the availability as I am sure you have found it is very difficult to source new Panerai watches in the UK with dealers often stating they require a 50% deposit and with no indicative timescale for availability.
